🔧 Marino's Auto Repair

I've been to Marino's for two annual inspections and new brakes. He's very chill and not condescending, and doesn't try to upsell you on anything. The pricing is very fair! I went to the nearby pepboys once in a pinch and regretted it. From now on, as long as I'm in the neighborhood and have a car, I'll be coming to Marino's.

On the first real hot day this year, my car started overheating and the a/c wouldn’t work. It’s a 2002 beetle, so I’m always nervous that any kind of repair is going to be expensive. I called Marino’s and was able to bring it in within the hour. I told him what was going on and he seemed confident he could fix it. It ended up just being a simple connection issue with the radiator fan, and he was able to fix it that day. He only needed to charge me an hour’s labor, and he asked to keep it over the weekend to be able to drive it and make sure everything was in working order. I honestly just called the closest shop to my house, and was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of service.

Highly recommend! Super communicative and fair prices. I have a 2006 Toyota that I just needed repaired enough to drive safely, and he fixed it up quickly.

This mechanic is very friendly and honest. Took great care with my car and I could not have had a better experience at a mechanic. I 100% recommend you go here! You will not regret! He is the best!!!

The first review written long ago was about a gas station repair shop that was closed and vacant for a few years. This place Marino's Auto Repairs is on Bancroft street right off Snyder ave has very good reviews on Yelp. They have been in business for over 30 years and were on Oregon ave 9 years ago. Now its an Auto Repair shop only, and does general auto repairs, State Inspection and Emissions and even Motorcycle Inspections and does pick up and deliveries in south Philly and center city so its a pretty good place to get your car serviced.
