Called to ask if I need a appointment to get fingerprinted for my property and casualty insurance license. The state told me that I can go to a AAA and get my fingerprints done. The lady did not even let me say two words and she hung up

Honestly, I do not recommend this place. I went in to ask for a car battery replacement days ago and was told to come back today, which I did. At first I called and was told that they were full, but then to come in anyway and wait. Upon arrival, I was told that it would be approximately a 1-2 hour wait. After almost three, they told me that I could leave the car but they would not get to it. This sort of waiting set up was very frustrating and while I appreciate that they seemed to try and say all the right calm things——I left feeling like it was all an elusive set of excuses. I understand the long wait times and the lack of staffing, and do appreciate the kindness—but I have to recommend against this place for the reasons I referred to above.

I would recommend against trusting any repairs from this location. I had my car inspected here in 2024 and was told my rear brakes needed to be replaced, I paid for the replacement. 12 months and 3000 miles later I brought my car in for inspection at a different AAA site and was told my rear brakes needed to be replaced - AGAIN. I just spent most of the morning on the phone with the south Philly location trying to figure out what went wrong with the first repair and was told, at different points, “well at least the repair was under warranty”, “there must have been a mechanical issue that wore your brakes down” (note: a mechanical issue that was bad enough to destroy my brakes but not bad enough to be picked up on the inspection?), and “how could you not have noticed that the brakes were faulty when you drove away?” (Making it my fault). They can offer no evidence that the repair was actually done, meaning I paid full price either for a nonexistent repair or for a faulty inspection. Be very careful if you are bringing your car in that the work you pay for is actually being done.

DO NOT let the AAA branding fool you! They will try to claim needed repairs to get work done that's not necessary. More importantly they're dishonest. I took my car in for an oil change. The mechanic damaged my car driving it into the bay. Management failed to notify me of the damage to the car. They parked my car in a way that it wouldn't be noticeable when I got in. Which means they knew and attempted to hide it. Thankfully I did go far before I saw the damaged passenger side of my car. They will make you waste YOUR time by making YOU get 2 estimates for a claim and then decline it. Apparently, it's on the customer to request the video from the shop according to their insurance. I had to go through my insurance to get repairs and no reimbursement for the rental I needed. Thankfully I had proof of them damaging my vehicle but that doesn't mean they'll do the right thing! Do not trust this place, they are dishonest and no better than Pepboys with the AAA branding. Avoid even in an emergency!
