Had a nail in my tire. I called and asked how fast and how much it was and they did it within an hour of my call and for about $25 which I thought was reasonable. Said range was $15-35 Great service! Would go again

Background: I took my 2015 VW to Take 5 for a routine oil change. The next day I noticed oil leaking from the underside of the car and a burning smell. I took the car back to Take 5 and they informed me it wasn’t their issue it was most likely a faulty oil pump. The review for Take 5 will be done on a separate platform but the headline will be use their services at your own risk. Hilliard Auto Repair: I then took the car to Hilliard Auto Repair, previously having a good experience with them. The Manager Kim told me she suspected the oil change company had done something incorrectly. She said they would put a UV dye in the oil and under a black light, determine where the oil leak was originating from. There was NOT an oil pump issue but Take 5 had improperly installed the filter, crimping a seal ring. Kim provided a written explanation and pictures for me to file a claim with Take 5. Through the service experience it is evident they care about their customers and arent just interested in slamming parts in people’s cars for the sake of profitability. I’ve found all of the employees to be engaging and work honestly to gain your business and loyalty. I highly recommend Kim and Hilliard Auto Repair. My cars won’t be serviced by anyone else.

Highly recommend this business to anybody if you need a car repair. Had an issue with my car brought it in talk to the I suppose the owner of the company very knowledgeable fixed my little problem very quickly told me what happened told me it's a common thing in my car that I bought and within 5 minutes I was back on the road so not only did he fix something he also educated me on why the thing that happened did happen to my vehicle that I just bought. I have a 2018 Lincoln MKC SUV and last night the bottom fairing underneath the car started to fall off. I took the car in there scared that I did something or I didn't want to break something else and the gentleman that I spoke to came out and said oh that happens all the time to those types of cars because they have to remove that when giving it an oil change so it's bound to have the screw holes open up more because it's plastic when you attach and detach it to give it an oil change so like I said he not only gave me an education on the car basically charge me nothing to fix it because it took less than 5 minutes but the big thing is he gained a new customer and for that I am grateful highly recommend this business everybody was kind and courteous that I came in contact with

Stellar service from start to finish. Despite my lack of knowledge I was given a detailed breakdown and frequent progress updates. They were extremely friendly and informative. It was easy to feel comfortable every time they called. I was given a timeline on how long I could hold off on less critical repairs and alternatives to prolong necessary ones. I appreciate their willingness to cover all options and patience with my questions before coming to my decision. Once parts were in, the work was very quick. Every one of my issues was addressed and the vehicle was back better than I could've hoped for.

It's hard to find high-quality, honest car mechanics of this caliber in the city! Yesterday I came in for an oil change and tire rotation. Upon performing their inspection, they noticed that I needed to de-corrode the battery terminals and to replace the cabin air filter. They showed me the estimates for both of those repairs, providing the cost of the parts and cost of the labor, which were very fair, but I decided to just do them myself. Kim was able to sell both the terminal cleaning kit and order the filter for me, Sean showed me how to replace the filter, walking me through the whole process! This morning as I was driving to work, my car's skid plate collided with the pavement, and the front of it got very dinged up and it lost some of its screws. As I was going back there after work today to pick up the filter anyway, I called to see if they could help me with replacing the plate. Instead of making pay a fortune for a new one, they were able to re-adjust it, and put some new screws to re-attatch it to the bottom of the car free of charge! They were sorry they didn't reinforce the plate yesterday, when I first came in for the oil change, as it had only minor damage at the time and it's not an essential part of the car. I'm just so glad that put aside the time in their busy schedule to do repair the shield without my making a formal appointment for it. All-in-all, Kim was very helpful in breaking down the costs of the repairs and in applying coupons, and resourceful in finding more information about the parts. I will be going here for my oil changes and inspections in the future!
