If I could give this place a -0 star I would. I specifically called and asked for a engine for a 2011 Acura MDX. They delivered the engine to my mechanic but the car started having problems right after. Took it to Lindsey Acura and they advised I was given the wrong engine. Not only did they give the wrong engine, they didn’t tell me, agreed to replace it and pay for labor on three different occasions for their error but when the time came they denied having agreed to pay for the labor. I paid 1800 for the part and they gave me a part for a 2012 Acura TL that is not compatible with my vehicle and at most cost 1k on the website for all the salvage yards. Took them to court and the judge ruled in their favor because apparently the document Lindsey Acura provided wasn’t sufficient and because I didn’t have anyone from Lindsey there to corroborate it wasn’t enough proof. Mind you I had a video they denied putting into evidence as well from Lindsey saying they couldn’t prove the source when I literally saved the text message sent to me so dialing the number would’ve clearly proved it was Lindsey Acura who sent it. I figured the judge would do that when we went to our first hearing and the judge referred to south highs lawyer by his first name. I knew then with me not having a lawyer he would rule in his buddies favor. So regardless of them giving me an incompatible part and me paying significantly more for that part, none of that mattered. Mike from South High literally held up his hand swore the oath and lied bold faced in that courtroom. He is a crook. Do not trust him and this is coming from someone who has been a customer for over a decade until now.

Customer service from this place isnt the greatest. I bought an engine from these guys for $5300 that was supposed to have been tested.After running for 20 minutes with severe blow by (see video attached)the engine left the chat. I call them up and tell them what's going on. They are rude and do not want to do a thing for me. In the end they did give me another engine but did not cover the $2000 in labor.not saying that I wouldn't buy from them again, but not sure i would trust their testing. Later; I'm not sure if they remember me or not but I put this engine in a pickup truck not a tow truck .also saying I put 43000 miles on it isn't quite the truth because it barely idled for 20 minutes before a rod bearing locked up.and yes it had oil in it .

My boss always order parts from this place. They have some friendly staff and some not too friendly. They have nice deals on vehicles for sale.

They really went above and beyond to help me find a replacement bumper cover for my car. Their salvage yard was huge, and the prices were much cheaper than other places I checked. I would highly recommend this business.

Traveled 45 minutes to location, to pickup engine assembly. Staff was great, very friendly, no issues with transaction. Was advised the Warranty was 90 days, cool. Engine in question was as stated, for my make/model. Block was complete, fuel rail cut/smashed, exhaust was acetyl torched off, harness was cut at connectors, all of which I didn't need. The heat exchanger/oil cooler hard lines were bent, unfortunately. Installed engine before testing (my fault), found it had low compression on 3 cylinders. Removed, contacted SH Auto to warranty out, and got a newer engine the next day, with very little friction from staff. Overall positive experience, aside from doing the job twice. I can only fault the Yard for not performing proper testing, and having listed "good" in description. I'd advise you to test before installation. I would buy from SH Auto again, being weary of their testing. They made it right, that's what counts in my opinion.
