🔧 Best Motor Werks

Excellent BMW repair facility. My 2004 M3 Convertible was in need of some routine maintenance and didn't really know where to go here in Columbus as I am somewhat new to the area. I searched the internet looking for reviews and saw that these guys were highly recommended. I called Best Motor Werks, spoke to Rufus and explained what I was looking for. Told him that I had fallen behind on a lot of regular maintenance items plus the fact that the E46 M3 has the "Big Three" issues (Vanos, Rod Bearings and Subframe Cracks), and wanted the car checked out. Rufus is a real "car guy". He knows his business very well plus he's a real enthusiast. That makes a difference when you own a car like an M. He "gets" the fact that we LOVE our cars. I dropped the car off and told him that he could keep it for a while as it is not my daily driver. I asked for a complete multipoint inspection and a coolant change as it had never been done in the 11 years I owned it. The technician gave the car a thorough inspection and came up with a list of things that should be addressed as well as assigned a number from 1-10 in terms of how soon these items should be addressed. Rufus went over everything on the list one by one and answered any questions I had. There was no pressure to fix everything at once like you might get from a dealer. Since I only put less that 5000 miles a year on the car, there were things that could possibly be addressed next year. The owner John is great, honest and professional. As I mentioned earlier, Rufus is a true "car guy" and understands the love we have for our cars. I will definitely be using Best Motor Werks for all my BMW repairs and maintenance. Great experience working with Best Motor Werks! My BMW 330I needed the brakes done and an oil change. The communication throughout the process was incredible, best I’ve ever experienced. I will not hesitate to bring my car there for all of its needs in the future. Thanks guys!

It’s a smaller shop, so things can take a little time—but that’s exactly what you want when it comes to quality, detail-oriented work. They clearly take pride in what they do, and it shows. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a shop that truly knows BMWs and treats your car with care.

Absolutely unprofessional and disappointing experience. I brought my BMW 330i in with a clear explanation of ongoing vibration issues and asked for specific inspections including brake fluid replacement and engine mount checks. They refused to perform the services, dismissed my concerns, and told me to go to a dealership instead—without even charging me or doing any real work. It felt like they simply didn’t want to deal with a “complicated” case. They only seem to care about expensive jobs or customers who spend a lot of money. If they can’t profit enough, they won’t even bother helping you. Don’t waste your time or money here! If you’re looking for real diagnostics or serious attention to your vehicle’s problems, this is not the place. A complete waste of time.

While your car is being serviced, the team keeps you updated throughout the service, which I like. Am very pleased with every service my car has received from their expert technicians. Very honest and trustworthy team. Will not take my Mini anywhere else!
