🔧 O'Reilly Auto Parts

Today was my second recent stop into the Clintonville O'Reilly Auto Parts location. In June during an intense rainfall I lost a wiper while in traffic and needed it replaced to continue driving. After purchasing replacement blades I attempted their install in the down pour and heard the words "please let me help". This is when Guzzy, one of the most professional techs in retail auto parts quickly installed the blades and offered to help me identify the right parts for my truck should I need help in the future. Today I returned with a battery issue and who recognized me as I waked in? Guzzy, he was quick to welcome me back and offered to check out the battery situation. After reviewing connections, and stuff Guzzy suggested the factory installed battery life was over. Within minutes the O'Reilly parts team had help locate the ideal battery for my budget. Guzzy, installed the battery in minutes, reviewed all secured connections and was careful the hood was locked down. Not unlike my last earlier visit, Guzzy thank me for choosing to shop with them and welcomed me back in the future. What an amazing experience.

My wiper blade broke off on a rainy day. I went to purchase wiper blades. No one helped me and I had to let the employee know I was ready to check out. Then I asked her to put the wiper blades on (sign said free instillation). She said she didn’t know how and there was no one else there. You shouldn’t hire people and not train them on wiper blade instillation. I end up not purchasing the wipers and went Advance Auto Parts.

Just left this location minutes ago. No staff visible but could hear employee talking in back. I thought there were two people having a conversation but was actually staff on phone. I shopped for about ten minutes, found what I needed and went to checkout. Still no staff visible, no greeting, no "I'll be right with you". Called store from counter to checkout and guy on phone in back answered and told me I'd have to wait because he was on the phone. How about putting person on hold to check me out! I left my stuff on counter and left to shop at a competitor. I find this super rude! Will think twice about ever returning. AITAH?

Jeremiah is an outstanding employee that goes above and beyond. My check engine light was on and he checked it and gave me a printout, which was amazing because the last time I had to do that I was given a code and told to look it up. He also checked my oil, helped me buy what I needed, let me use a funnel, and made sure the cap was on and I was good to go. I want him to know how much I appreciated him and I hope he gets the recognition he deserves.

8/27/24... Back today to buy new cabin and air filters. Tajsion removed and replaced both filters. He also cleared my check engine light with no issues found. Thank you for the awesome customer service!! My first time in this store. Zachary waited on me my battery cables needed cleaned. He assisted me in the proper tool to buy. He also came out to my car to clean my battery for me! Great customer service he was pleasant and helpful. Thank you Zachary!! I highly recommend this location 😃
